Friend And Me Inc. was founded out of a personal journey: a three-year period of primary caregiving for a beloved mother, following a 27-year career devoted to one-on-one client trust as a hairstylist. Today, our mission is unwavering to honour and assist seniors in remaining independent within their own homes, delivering high-cadence, personalized care throughout Barrie, Muskoka, Innisfil, Orillia, and surrounding Ontario communities. We reject the impersonal, high-volume model of traditional agencies. Instead, we focus on meaningful interactions, never offering “hi-and-bye” visits. Every visit is a minimum of one hour, ensuring real connection, safety, and completion of tasks that matter. Our team is unified by a mandate of dignity, respect, and honour. We act as advocates whether it’s conducting wellness checks, supporting long-term palliative journeys, or providing detailed shift-by-shift updates for families living out of town. Led by founder Koral Wilson, whose unique blend of interpersonal mastery and 11 years of health care experience set the standard for our approach, every team member shares the commitment to restoring dignity and autonomy to the aging population. Our operational protocols are designed for total transparency, from in-home communication books (tracking daily vitals and needs) to email reports sent after each shift for out-of-province families. We are available around the clock for emergencies, ensuring families and seniors are never left without guidance or advocacy. Local families receive notes in a Communication Book, including vitals and grocery needs. Out-of-town families get detailed email reports after every shift for full transparency.

Yes, every team member is insured, bonded, verified, and trained. We uphold the highest standards in all in-home assistance and companionship services.
Do you offer nail clipping or medical nursing tasks?
No. Nail clipping and regulated medical tasks are performed only by nurses. Our assistance focuses on companionship, advocacy, and PSW-level support.
